All memberships run from the day of purchase and continue until cancelled or upgraded (the renewal date will update when changed).
❌ How to Cancel a Membership
You’ll need to cancel via the Momence website (not the app):
Go to: Memberships → My Memberships → locate your Subscription → click Cancel.
Your membership will end at the end of your billing month.
Example: if purchased on 5th Jan and cancelled on 10th Jan, it will stop on 4th Feb.
There are no cancellation fees.
⏸️ How to Pause Your Membership
Please message us through Momence or email info@fisonfitness.co.uk.
Include the inclusive dates you’d like to pause.
Example: “Hold from 7th–14th,” means you can train again on the 15th.
We can only place holds if you’re away for 5+ consecutive days.
🔄 How to Upgrade or Downgrade
You can now do this manually via the Momence website (not the app):
Go to your Customer Dashboard → My Memberships (left-hand menu)
Click the three dots next to your active membership
Select Transfer Membership
Choose your new plan → click Save
A blue Transfer tag will appear — your new plan will begin on your next renewal date.
If you prefer, email us and we’ll handle it for you.

❌ Cancel a Class
You can cancel up to 2 hours before class start time for a full refund or credit return.
How to Cancel a Class in Momence
You can cancel a class through either the Momence app or the Momence website.
🖥️ On Desktop (Website)
Log in to your Momence account.
Go to My Schedule or My Bookings in your dashboard.
Find the class you want to cancel.
Click Cancel next to the class name.
Confirm when prompted.
If you cancel at least 2 hours before class, your credit or payment will be automatically refunded.
📱 On the App
Open the Momence app.
Tap the Profile icon (bottom right).
Select My Schedule.
Find the upcoming class you wish to cancel.
Tap Cancel Booking, then confirm.
💡 Tip: If you’re on a membership, your class credit will go back into your balance automatically once you cancel.
⏰ Arriving Late
Classes begin on time.
Instructors have 5–15 minutes before class to set up and ensure everything runs smoothly.
For Yoga and Pilates, the door may be locked 5 minutes after class begins — please arrive early.
If you can’t attend, cancel your spot to free it up for someone else.
🕐 Waitlist
If you’re on a waitlist, you’ll automatically be added to class when a space opens.
If a spot opens within 2 hours of class, you’ll get an email or text to confirm your spot.
It’s now fastest finger first - confirm quickly to secure your place.
If you can’t make it - or don’t want to set an alarm to check if you’ve been added overnight - please remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid being automatically added and charged.
🚫 Late Cancels & No-Shows
We want everyone to have a fair chance to train.
If you miss class or cancel late:
You’ll get a “strike” on your profile.
3 strikes within any rolling month = £10 fine, which we’ll donate to charity at year’s end.
💪 What Classes Are Included?
Your membership includes all classes across Studio 1 and Studio 2 in Herne Hill.
🧘 Do I Need My Own Mat?
We provide mats, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
🌈 Which Class Should I Try?
🪷 New to movement? Try gentle yoga or beginner Pilates.
💪 Want more challenge? Try Dynamic Yoga or Strength.

All classes are mixed-ability — first-timers and seasoned athletes train side by side.
🤱 Mums & Babies
⏳ When Can I Join After Birth?
Allow 6–10 weeks for recovery before returning to class — closer to 10 weeks post-C-section.
We’ll support you whether you join at 8 weeks or 6 months — move when you’re ready.
💪 Training with Diastasis
Yes — it’s safe!
If your physio advises caution, start with Pilates or Strength to rebuild gradually.
You’re not broken — just rebuilding strength.
🍼 Can I Bring My Buggy?
Studio 1: Yes — space by your mat or at the entrance.
Studio 2 (Yoga): Please leave buggies in the entrance (no shoes or buggies beyond this point).
😭 What If My Baby Cries?
Totally fine! It’s normal — no need to worry.
Our coaches will help and we have plenty of toys to soothe little ones.
👶 Changing & Feeding
Bring a portable mat — you can change your baby right on your workout mat.
There’s also a padded changing mat en route to the studio.
Feeding is always welcome — on your mat or the benches if you prefer sitting up.
💕 Coming Without Baby
If you get the chance for a solo workout - please come! Enjoy your baby-free session guilt-free.
🚼 When Should I Stop Bringing My Baby?
There’s no strict age limit, but once your little one starts walking or exploring (usually around 18 months), it can get tricky to focus on class.
👨👧 Can My Partner Attend?
Non-birthing parents are welcome at:
Herne Hill:
Thursdays 10 am
Sundays 10 am (Dads & Babies)
🏋️♀️ When Can I Join Level 2?
Level 2 includes more conditioning and impact prep.
Aim to wait until after your “fourth trimester” (about 12 weeks), or whenever your body feels ready. You can also just ask the instructor if they think you are ready to move up.
There are always modifications available, so don’t stress - it’s not “go hard or go home.”
🚗 Parking
HERNE HILL:
Weekday restrictions 12 – 2 pm.
Outside those hours, park freely on nearby roads: Milkwood Rd, Caver Rd (near Sainsbury’s Local), Stradella Rd, or Shardcroft Rd.
Between 12 – 2 pm weekdays: use the Lido Car Park (2 hours free, < 5 min walk).
