Why are you a teacher and trainer?

As well as being in and around sport my entire life, I get a genuine kick out of helping people improve their fitness and set & achieve their exercise goals.

What do you teach and specialise in?

Circuits / Bootcamp & pre season style classes / Total Body Conditioning.

What do you love about exercise and fitness?

That it can add to your life in so many different ways, both physically and mentally. A catch up with a mate over a game of squash, running your first 5km/10km/marathon or the camaraderie of getting through those last few reps at circuits class together ... nothing beats the feeling of getting your body moving.

Favourite food?

Medium rare steak, fries, peppercorn sauce, a nice glass of red - and then probably a port if you're having one too!

What music will be on if you're in the studio?

90s pop rock ... or slightly harder rock, anything with a guitar and drums basically. Then Dire Straits for the cool down. This will only be on until Joe enters the studio though - then Funky House Volume 27 is put back on!

  • Level 2 Fitness Instructor

  • Degree in Sports Science – Loughborough University

  • DBS approved previously named CRB
