Anne Fison
Why are you a trainer/ teacher
Having always been interested in sports and competing in teams at school and county level, Anne went on to work on the ski slopes of France and the beaches of the Aegean not really knowing what to do. In 2009 Anne returned to England where she trained to become a Personal Trainer and Class Instructor after meeting a Personal Trainer in Greece who inspired her.
What do you teach/ specialise in?
Anne has taught many classes including Spin, Circuits and Pilates in and around Herne Hill. Anne's 'that's good, just a bit more' approach seems to get people to work hard without all that shouting. Anne has worked with many different types of people from beginners who find it hard to complete a class to those training for big events. By focusing on what the individual wants to achieve and working to their level she makes sure she creates the perfect workout. She now mainly specialises in Post natal, recovery and the little niggles that mean ‘we can't' but Anne can find a way.
What do you love about exercise/fitness?
That we can all do it. What ever level we are at we can improve, get better and make gains. I find it gives me head space and reenergise me.
