Chloe Bowman
Why are you a teacher/ trainer?
I find so much joy in moving with people. I strive to facilitate spaces where people feel empowered to explore, play, and rest when needed. I have been privileged to study with so many incredible folks and hope to pass on what I know and continue to learn. As a teacher and human I believe in empathy, holding space, compassion, play, accountability, and lots of questions. It is my desire for students to be able to step out of class and feel like they have the tools and trust in their bodies to continue moving without me.
What do you specialise in?
I teach mat Pilates, seated Pilates inspired classes, contemporary dance and dance making.
What do I love about exercise/fitness?
I love the way movement makes me feel, especially when I’m moving with other people! I believe it’s such a powerful way to build community. I find so much joy in moving even on days I feel down, movement meets me where I’m at.
Whats your favourite food?
Tomatoes! I used to eat them like apples when I was little.
What music will be on if you are in the Studio?
Indie tunes, some pop, oldies (love a good cover), and I’m always up for a request.
