Emma Landolt
Why are you a trainer/ teacher?
I’m passionate about teaching the art, magic and ritual of yoga and dedicated to helping my students connect deeply to their bodies and souls.
I believe that through deep connection to our bodies we are able to awaken our true potential.
What do you teach/ specialise in?
My background teaching dance and the Brazilian art form of Capoeira has inspired my yoga teaching with graceful, dance-like movement.
my classes are dynamic and creative, building communion with the breath and inviting a feeling of lightness, ease and joy. I love to teach Mandala Vinyasa, infused with ritual, intention and elemental theory.
Alongside fluid movement i teach Yin Yoga to soften, open and restore the body, breathwork practises to calm the nervous system, and Yoga Nidra for deep relaxation and transformation.
My classes are poetic and playful, encouraging awareness both mentally and physically. I invite a positive, nurturing and joyful environment for students to experiment and transform through their yoga practice.
What do you love about exercise/fitness?
I began yoga to heal a rotator cuff injury and saw immediately how effective yoga can be to heal us, not just on the physical level but deep into the emotional layers, the mind and the old trauma that we hold in our energetic body. Yoga helps us learn to live our best lives, in our healthiest body, and teaches us to strive for the best version of ourselves. It has been my lifeline and my anchor and this is what I love to share with my students.

Qualifications
I have completed more than 1000 teacher training hours.
I practiced yoga for 10 years before I completed a 200hr Teacher Training in Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow in India in 2015. Since then I completed a 300hr advanced training with the Yoga People, incorporating Rocket, Yin and Tripsichore and then a further 150 hours of Mandala Vinyasa. I also completed a Handstands & Inversions teacher training with Patrick Beach who I continue to study with, and the have trained to teach Shiva Rae’s Prana Flow.
I am trained to teach Yoga Nidra (Tantric Sleep Yoga) with Uma Dinsmore Tuli, which has had a profound influence on my practice and teaching. This deeper journeying has led me to explore holding regular ceremony space, including Cacao and women’s circles.
I teach yoga retreats internationally and lead women’s empowerment retreats in Colombia and Mexico.
