Harriet Westcott

Why are you a trainer and teacher?

My absolute goal is helping you to be happier and healthier. There are, and always will be, aesthetic goals in the fitness industry, but what I truly believe is most important is that you train to be healthy, to be happy and strong enough to live your best life.

What do you teach/specialise in?

Strength and cardio/HIIT training are my bread and butter. I’m certified in boxing padwork so incorporate this where relevant and also have my additional pre and post-natal qualification. Through personal experience I’m familiar with (peri)menopause and have a passion for keeping woman strong who are experiencing this. Whatever our workout might look like, I want to do it in a positive, empowering way that’s fun and leaves you feeling good about yourself!

What do you love about exercise and fitness?

I love how positive exercise is for your mental health as well as the physical. Feeling strong can be such a confidence boost and the right workout can totally transform your mood. It’s so rewarding having a client leave their session on a high! Also, how adaptable exercise is; you didn’t sleep so well, that’s ok we’ll take the intensity down, or extra energy boost – let’s use it!

Favourite Food?

I have a sweet tooth I like to indulge in the name of balance, most probably through biscuits and chocolate!

What Music will be on if you are in the Studio?

A 90s workout playlist sets a good vibe!
