Jeremy Johnston

Why are you a teacher and trainer?

Having been an estate agent and a banker I thought it was about time I gave back to society!! I also love working with clients over the medium to long term and seeing them develop and learn to do things they never thought possible, whether that be touching their toes or doing a chin up and everything in between.

What do you teach and specialise in?

I would say I'm more of a generalist than a specialist. The idea is that it is Personal Training so the approach with each client is different depending on their situation. There will be common themes such as bodyweight training, using kettlebells and a focus on mobility but how we reach your goals very much depends on you, the client.

What do you love about exercise and fitness?

It's ability to give people confidence, not just in their bodies but also in other aspects of their lives. I love that it can offer surprises to those that think they can't do something or that they don't like exercise. It also helps to give a foundation and discipline to my life that carries over into all other aspects of my life.
